Rose Idibia, the mother of music legend, Innocent Idibia, better known as Tuface has called on Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru to stop romantic relationship with her son.
In video posted on Thursday evening, Mrs. Idibia said her son was not in the right frame of mind to go into a relationship considering his ongoing divorce proceedings with his estranged wife, Annie Macaulay.
She called on the beautiful lawmaker to remove the beads she put on her son’s hand and neck.
Mrs. Idibia said in the video, “Good evening, Nigerians. My name is Mrs. Rose Idibia, the mother of 2face. This message is for Miss Natasha Osawaru of Edo State. I’m calling on all mothers in Nigeria to help me beg her to free my son.
“My son is going through a divorce process, and he is clearly not in his right senses now. I know my son well. That is not him. Please, Natasha, the beads you put on his hand and neck, remove them and free him.”
It would be recalled that Tuface or 2Baba proposed to Osawaru a few days ago and she accepted. The video is still trending on social media.
The singer had in January 2025announced his separation from Annie Idibia, his wife of over a decade.
Another message 30 minutes later claimed the account was hacked, but Tuface shot a video to dispel the claim. In the brief video, he stated that his account was not hacked and he said what he said.
Speculation later hit the airwaves that the music legend was going out with a lawmaker.
Tuface was later seen at the Edo State Assembly, and at a Lagos club with Osawaru.
To critics blaming the lawmaker for his marriage crash, Tuface took to social media to clear the air.
He posted a video of himself where he said, “Hon. Natasha has been dragged and called all sorts of names. She is a young, brilliant, amazing woman, and had nothing to do with what happened between me and Annie. Yes, I love her, and I want to marry her.”
