Iyabo Ojo’s daughter, Priscilla moves to tackle rumours of excluding father from weddding

Priscilla Ojo, the daughter of Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, has made a move to counter rumours that she sidelined her father, Ademidun Ojo, in her wedding arrangements.

It would be recalled that there have been a lot of pictures and videos emanating from the young woman and her husband, Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, as they prepared and finally tied the knot in an Islamic ceremony.

Her mother has been a prominent feature of most of the pictures and videos while the father has been conspicuously absent, with the rumour mill suggesting that the man was not carried along.

The last Friday, February 7, 2025 grand Islamic wedding between Priscilla and Juma Jux in Tanzania has been touted as final proof that there was a strained relationship between the young lady and her dad because he was still not present.

However, to defuse the rumour, Priscilla had a Snapchat session with her father and then shared a screenshot of the video call on Instagram.

She wrote the caption: “Daddy yo!” on a picture of Ademidun Ojo, which she screenshot from a video call with him.

Iyabo Ojo had earlier hinted that her marriage to Ademidun Ojo was her first real encounter with poverty.

She told Toke Makinwa in a 2023 interview that her initial visit to her ex-husband’s home was humbling. She said she was shocked by his modest living conditions.

Iyabo said the ‘face-to-face’ apartment her ex-husband lived in was a stark contrast to what she had envisioned, stressing that there was a mismatch between her expectations and reality.

Iyabo Ojo is now dating millionaire music promoter, Paulo Okoye.
