Operatives of the Ogun State Security Network, known as Amotekun, have detained a man identified as Ramoni Abiodun Segun in connection with the sudden death of his girlfriend, Adijat, at his residence in Odoraboyejo, Ojowo area of Ijebu Igbo.
The incident reportedly occurred after Adijat spent the night at Segun’s home.
According to Segun, she complained of severe stomach pain during the night, became unconscious, and was later found dead on Tuesday morning.
Upon receiving a distress call from an anonymous source, Amotekun operatives promptly arrested Segun.
He has since been transferred to the Ijebu Igbo police division for further investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding Adijat’s death.
Authorities are urging anyone with additional information about the incident to come forward and assist in the investigation
