Portuguese football icon, Cristiano Ronaldo, has proclaimed himself as the most accomoplished player in football history.
He said this in an interview with Edu Aguirre on ‘El Chiringuito’.
He acknowledged that fans might favor legends like Lionel Messi, Pelé, or Diego Maradona, but he firmly believes in his unparalleled versatility and skill set.
Ronaldo stated, “I think I’m the most complete football player that has ever existed. People could like Messi, Maradona, or Pelé, and I respect it, but I’m the most complete. I’m the best player in football history. I haven’t seen anyone better than me in football history, and I’m saying truth from my heart.”
Throughout his illustrious career, Ronaldo has secured five Ballon d’Or awards and numerous titles across Europe’s top leagues, including the Premier League, La Liga, and Serie A. He has also clinched five UEFA Champions League titles, underscoring his significant impact on the sport.
On the international stage, Ronaldo has been instrumental to Portugal’s successes, leading the national team to victory in the UEFA Euro 2016 and the 2019 Nations League.
Despite these achievements, the FIFA World Cup remains the only major honor missing from his extensive trophy collection.
