Ekiti undergraduate nabbed after injecting poison in boyfriend’s water (Video)
'Wednesday: K!ll him' she wrote in her To-Do-List
A 19-year-old 100-level student of Ekiti State University (EKSU) Ado Ekiti has been apprehended after she attempted to k1ll her boyfriend who volunteered to teach her to drive.
The boyfriend had apparently made arrangements to teach her to drive during her stay with him.
The student arrived at the apartment of the boyfriend with a powerful insecticide, Sniper, and a syringe inside her bag.
When the man was not looking, she injected the substance inside three bottles of water meant to be drunk by the man and possibly his friends.
The man was however lucky to see the sniper in her bag and began to query what it was meant for.
Further probe led him to find needle holes in the three water bottles.
They also found in her bag, a detailed To-Do list, including k!lling the boyfriend and making away with his laptop, two phones and his car, among other things.
But she wrote it in codes to make it difficult for others to understand.
For instance, the first item on the To-Do-List is: “Monday -> Buy P.” It was after she was caught that it became apparent ‘P’ means pois0n.
The partially decoded To-Do-List is as follows:
Monday —> Buy Poison.
Wednesday —> Learn how to drive.
Wednesday —> Lodge, Kill him anywhere possible.
Wednesday —> Take his two phones, laptop and drive away.
Thursday Morning —> Call “E” to help.
Thursday After —> Tell “E” to xxx”
Other keywords found on the paper: “Lodge, befriend, call, herbalist, Taiwo, Grandma.”
When interrogated, she refused to speak on why she wanted to k!ll her friend.
Reports indicated that she had been released to her parents after it was claimed that she suffered from mental health issues.
The police are still investigating to get to the bottom of the incident.
