Mixed reactions as man shares video of his Further Maths teacher in Secondary school now riding Okada (Video)

A man has attracted both positive and negative comments after he shared a video of his encounter with his secondary school Further Maths teacher who is now riding a commercial motorcycle (Okada) to survive.

Using the handle, Kyle_231 on Tiktok, the man posted the video with the caption: “I boarded an Okada today and the rider happens to be my Further Maths Secondary School teacher.

The video started after the journey was well underway and the introductions had been done.

At the destination, the former student, Kyle, handed out more money than the fare. The former teacher upon counting the money wanted to return the excess but Kyle told him to keep it.

“Is it because I introduced myself?” the teacher asked. This made it clear that he was even the one who recognized the former student.

The former teacher was wearing a crash helmet with a glass visor covering his face which made it difficult for the former student to recognize him before he introduced himself.

At the destination, the teacher pulled up the visor and the student beamed with a smile in instant recognition.

“This is from me to you, sir,” Kyle said, insisting that his former teacher should keep the money. The teacher then resorted to thanking his former student for his generosity.

The video has generated a lot of comments with some commending the teacher for not giving up hope and doing what he could to put food on his table.

Some others criticised Kyle for posting the video, pointing out that he was humiliating his former teacher by posting the video.
