Social media activist, Martins Otse better known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has said that his claim of N180 million missing from his NGO account was a lie he deliberately sold to illustrate that Nigerians online are gullible to believe anything.
In a video he shared on social media this morning, VDM said the NGO money was intact.
He said:
‘’80% of the people that use social media are dumb and the whole thing that happened with the N180 million is a clear opportunity to show you. I deliberately did it to just show you people that you are stupid. No money is missing, my money is secured. The way people are so excited about bad is really sad. I told my website guy, shut the website, let us use these people catch cruise. Nobody bothered to ask for evidence. They just went with what is being said. I am so happy I did this,” he said.
