A French band has performed a song by Nigerian twin musicians, PSquare, in a state dinner organized for President Bola Tinubu and his wife, Remi, in Paris by President Emmanuel Macron.
President Bola Tinubu has been on an official visit to France since Wednesday.
A viral clip shows two French vocalists rendering the very popular song while their band backed them up.
Reactions to the clip have been massive, with many lauding the French president for going to a great extent to entertain Nigeria’s president.
Others are sceptical of the motive for the lavish treatment of Tinubu and are wondering what the trade-off is.
