A middle-aged woman has been severely beaten by youths at the Asaba main market in Delta State after she was accused of ‘snatching’ a young man’s manhood.
Trouble started when a man in his early 30s raised an alarm that his manhood had ‘disappeared’ after a brief interaction with the woman.
Some youths immediately apprehended the woman and commenced beating her to force her to reverse the act.
Clips of the mob beating the woman have gone viral on social media.
The woman pleads for mercy from the crowd in one of the clips, as she explains that she has no power to reverse the alleged act.
The woman claimed that a man on Summit Road, Asaba, gave her the charm that caused the ‘disappearance’ of men’s manhood whenever she came into physical contact with them.
“I don’t know how many men have been affected,” she confessed during interrogation.
“Any man who touches me or I touch loses his manhood. If I meet the man who prepared the charm for me, he can help reverse it. I don’t have his phone number, but I know where to find him.”
According to Daily Trust, the woman is still in the custody of the youths as they consider involving the police.
