Ryan Kobayashi, the father of missing Hawaii woman, Hannah Kobayashi, has tragically died by suicide after efforts to locate his daughter in Los Angeles proved abortive.
The 58-year-old was found dead near Los Angeles International Airport on Saturday, November 24, 11 days after his daughter disappeared.
Hannah, 26, was last seen near Los Angeles International Airport and in areas of Skid Row, prompting Ryan to fly from Hawaii to aid in the search.
The father flew in from Hawaii to help trace his daughter and was reported to have relentlessly scoured areas where Hannah could have possibly been.
The family revealed that the emotional toll of the search had become overwhelming, ultimately leading to his tragic decision.
Ryan’s death has compounded the family’s grief, with a statement describing him as “a devoted father who died of a broken heart.”
Hannah’s disappearance remains unresolved, and investigators are urging anyone with information to come forward.
