The senior pastor of Potters House Church, Dallas, United States, Bishop T. D. Jakes, suffered a medical emergency during the live stream of one of the church’s services on Sunday, November 24, 2024.
The incident happened while the Bishop was saying a prayer while seated.
In the live video, he was seen praying with a film of sweat on his face and he appeared to slur in his speech before stopping abruptly with the hand holding the microphone dropping. He tilted to a side and both his arms were seen twitching.
His associates and his wife, Serita, rushed to his side and started praying for him.
An ambulance is seen arriving on the church grounds in the later part of the video and is believed to be for the Bishop.
