Nigerian woman accused of secretly marrying someone else while living with her husband reacts
A Nigerian woman, Fortune Adaobi Okechukwu, accused of marrying another man while remaining legally married to her husband, Anthony Echebiri, has reacted.
It would be recalled that Echebiri, a staff of NSCDC, took to social media to allege that Adaobi abandoned him and their daughters to get married to another man while still legally married to him.
Echebiri alleged that Adaobi was pregnant for her new husband, a situation which he said has left him devastated.
The story trended and was carried by many popular blogs and news websites. It must have got to the attention of Adaobi as she also took to social media on Saturday, November 23 to make a post.
In her post on Facebook, Adaobi was hypothetical, but she appeared to be making direct reference to the allegations made against her by her estranged husband.
She wrote:
“If Mr A loved, cared and treated Ms F well and she left, may Ms F never see a man that will love, care and treat her like Mr A ….. Iseeeeeeeee,” she wrote.
She also posted a screenshot of Echebiri’s friend request to her on Facebook. She put four laughing tongue out emoticons.
