President Bola Tinubu has appointed Daniel Bwala, a former spokesperson for the Atiku Campaign, as his Special Adviser on Media and Public Communications.
The announcement was made on Thursday by Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
Alongside Bwala, Tinubu appointed three directors-general to lead key national agencies:
Olawale Olopade was appointed as the Director-General of the National Sports Commission.
A seasoned sports administrator, Olopade previously served as the Ogun State Commissioner for Youth and Sports and chaired the organizing committee of the 2024 National Sports Festival.
Dr. Abisoye Fagade was appointed as the Director-General of the National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism.
Dr. Fagade is a marketing expert and founder of Sodium Brand Solutions, with deep experience in hospitality and tourism promotion.
Dr. Adebowale Adedokun was made the Director-General of the Bureau of Public Procurement.
Adedokun brings prior experience from his role in strategic planning and training within the bureau.
The Presidency praised these individuals for their dedication, urging them to uphold the principles of integrity, patriotism, and excellence in their roles.
