Hollywood actress, Eva Longoria flees from America after Donald Trump’s win
Says America will be horrible to live in
Hollywood actress, Eva Longoria has disclosed that she and her family have relocated from the United States, citing her concerns about the current social and political climate, which she described as “dystopian.”
The Desperate Housewives actress fears that if Donald Trump ‘keeps his promises’ the US will be a ‘scary place’ to live in.
The 49-year-old actress and director, known for her roles in Desperate Housewives and Flamin’ Hot, now splits her time between Mexico and Spain with her husband, José Bastón, and their six-year-old son, Santiago.
Longoria’s move comes as she feels increasingly uneasy about the direction of the United States, expressing that being outside the country has helped her manage her own anxiety.
“I get to escape and go somewhere,” she noted, acknowledging that she feels fortunate to have this option while recognizing that many Americans face limited choices in coping with what she described as a troubling environment.
While Longoria has been active in U.S. political campaigns, even supporting Vice President Kamala Harris, her recent move reflects her personal search for stability and well-being outside of America.
The actress continues to travel frequently but now considers Mexico and Spain as her family’s primary residences.
