Popular musician, Don Jazzy, has donated the sum of N100 million to the NGO floated by activist, Martins Otse, better known as Don Jazzy.
The activist had first raised alarm when he realised the huge sum of money hit his account on Wednesday.
He took to social media to raise alarm at the donation which brought the total sum in the account to N170 million.
He expressed alarm at the amount and the fact that the person did not identify himself.
He expressed worry that someone might be attempting to frame him for financial misconduct, such as money laundering.
In a video her posted, VeryDarkMan said, “Please Nigerians, come and help me. Someone sent me N100 million into my NGO account. Hope someone is not trying to set me up. I now have N170 million inside my NGO account.”
Captioning the video, he called on his bank to investigate the source of the money to clear his name for fraud-related transactions.
“@zenithbankplc please investigate my NGO account, I don’t know what is going on, hope im not being set up…. I AM NOT INTO MONEY L^UNDERING I DO NOT DO FR^UD(FOR THE RECORD) Nigerians bare me witness I don’t know what’s up with the account,” he captioned the video.
But just now, he returned to social media to share a text he received from Don Jazzy telling him he sent the money.
