Nollywood, fans mourn with actor Saidi Balogun over de@th of his daughter
Nollywood members and fans have taken to social media to mourn with veteran actor, Saidi Balogun, over the demise of his daughter, Zeenat.
The actor posted a picture of a burning candle and inserted three doves and a broken heart emoji in the caption.
He did not state the cause of his broken heart, but that was disclosed in the comment section as people who knew the reason for the post commiserated with him.
Among those who have commiserated with the actor was Faithia Williams, who was once married to Balogun.
She wrote on Instagram, “Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un” and added crying emojis.
Another actress, Ronke Oshodi-Oke, also took to her Instagram page to sympathise with the Balogun family.
She wrote, “No words can ease the pain of losing someone so precious. My heart goes out to you during this incredibly difficult time. May you find strength in the love and support surrounding you.”
Actor, Adeniyi Johnson, also wrote, “My condolences sir”; while Lepacious Bose commented, “Oh God, please comfort your daughter and her family.”
A fan, one_and_only_lois wrote, “My heart is heavy. Zeenat’s life revolved around making her dad proud. Rest in peace Zeenat, you really fought well.”
Temitopeoluwanitemi wrote, “Deepest condolences ma. May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace, amen. We love her but GOD loves her more, please take heart.”
