A shepherd of a white garment church in Ibadan, Pastor Ajidara, and his colleague, were publicly beaten and humiliated by street urchins following allegations of phone theft at the busy Challenge area of the capital city of Oyo State.
The video, initially shared on TikTok, shows one of the pastors, dressed in a white garment, being forced to remove his robe as onlookers watched.
Pastor Ajidara had apparently been beaten by the mob as there are visible bumps on his head and face. Blood stains are also visible on his white garment.
Moments later, another pastor, also wearing a white garment, is seen being confronted and reprimanded by a crowd, who accuse him of being involved in the theft.
The video’s caption, “Pastor Ajidara don later steal phone,” suggests the pastor was accused of stealing a phone.
The clip has sparked a massive reaction online, with some suggesting that the clerics might have been set up, while some suggested it was a spiritual attack.
