An Anambra lawyer, identified as Okechukwu Ututu, has lost his life in an accident on the Awka-Enugu Expressway while returning from the morgue where he had gone to deposit the body of his late mother.
Reports indicated that the crash happened on September 30, 2024, in Awka, the capital city of Anambra State.
The lawyer’s vehicle collided with a stationary truck parked along the expressway.
Okechukwu was pronounced dead at the scene.
The exact reason the lawyer lost control of his car and rammed into the stationary truck is not known, but witnesses said the lawyer was emotionally distraught in the hours leading up to the crash.
This heart-wrenching event has left his family and community in deep sorrow, as they now face the tragedy of organizing two funerals.
