A tragic accident occurred in Gusau, the capital of Zamfara State, on Sunday, September 29, 2024, when a couple and their four children were reportedly crushed to d@ath by a truck driver.
The incident took place around 8:30 a.m. at the Gusau Hotel roundabout.
According to eyewitness reports, the truck driver was reversing when he hit the victims, who were riding on a motorcycle.
After the crash, the driver fled the scene, leaving the bodies of the victims to be evacuated by officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).
Reedwan Abdulazeez, a member of the Yoruba community in Gusau, confirmed that the family was buried on Sunday evening.
