Tragedy struck during a church event in Ibadan, Oyo State, after five people died and several others were hospitalised following a “Love Feast” organized by the Celestial Church of Christ.
The incident, which occurred during a communal meal known as “Ipese,” left many worshippers in shock.
Reports indicate that the victims consumed a meal that led to their sudden deaths, while others who attended the event are currently receiving treatment at the Infectious Disease Centre in Olodo, Egbeda Local Government Area of Ibadan.
