Tech billionaire, Elon Musk denies having affair with Italian PM Giorgia Meloni after photos of them emerge
Owner of Tesla, Elon Musk, has firmly denied rumours of an affair with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni after pictures of the two together sparked speculation online.
The rumours surfaced following the release of photographs showing Musk and Meloni at a recent event, where they appeared to be sharing a close moment.
Social media quickly erupted with speculation, leading to claims of a romantic relationship between the two.
In response, Musk took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to address the rumours, stating, “I was there with my mom. There is no romantic relationship whatsoever with PM Meloni.”

He emphasized that the pictures were being misinterpreted and expressed frustration over the false narrative.
Maye Musk, Elon’s mother, also weighed in on the matter, clarifying that she was present at the event, sitting next to her son. She stated that any perceived intimacy between Musk and Meloni was exaggerated by the media and that she, too, admired Meloni, but not romantically.
The Italian Prime Minister has yet to publicly comment on the matter. As of now, both Musk and his mother have sought to put the rumors to rest, describing them as baseless gossip fueled by social media.
