An X user has taken to the platform to share a photo of what he claimed was the Murtala Muhammad Airport, Lagos, on the morning of September 24, 2024.
The photo shows an almost empty waiting area, with just a handful of passengers waiting.
“Empty airport this morning. Return ticket Lagos to Abuja is 143k,” the X user wrote.
Other Nigerians saw the thread as a place to air their grievances over Nigeria’s skyrocketing cost of air tickets.
