Nigerian rapper, Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, has issued a 24-hour ultimatum to activist Martins Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, demanding that he retract a statement he made about him in relation to the ongoing Bobrisky saga.
Trouble started when VeryDarkMan posted an audio clip where Bobrisky purportedly said Falz linked him to Falz’s father, Femi Falana (SAN) to assist him to get a pardon during his incarceration.
Bobrisky had been prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and jailed by the court.
But in a bid to wipe his record clean, he allegedly sought the help of Falana who allegedly billed him N10 million.
VeryDarkMan, after playing the clip, made some comments about Falz and his father, which Falz found offensive.
Falz in a letter to VeryDarkMan, Falz firmly denied the claims and demanded an immediate apology, threatening legal action if Otse fails to comply within 24 hours.
The controversy has sparked widespread debate on social media, with fans and critics alike voicing their opinions.
As of now, VeryDarkMan has yet to issue a public response to Falz’s demand, and it remains to be seen whether the activist will retract his statement or escalate the dispute further.
