‘Terry G’s downfall began the day he slapped a pastor in Lagos,’ Gospel artiste warns Portable to apologise to the pastor he slapped
A gospel artiste, Testimony Jaga, has warned singer Portable to go and apologise to the itinerant evangelist he slapped for preaching outside his bar.
In a video, Jaga said a popular artiste, TerryG, at the peak of his stardom had an encounter with a pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) at Iju-Fagba area of Lagos.
He said TerryG might even have forgotten about the incident, but he would remember the story now that he was sharing it.
According to him, the pastor who was driving behind Terry G, brushed the popular artiste’s car.
Jaga said Terry G came down from his car and slapped the man who did not do anything to retaliate.
“In his pride, he slapped the man and the man did nothing, just like the man you (Portable) slapped did nothing. That was the beginning of Terry G’s downfall. Where is Terry G today in the music industry?” Jaga said.
He chastised Portable for taking laws into his hands to assault another man simply because he was in front of his bar preaching.
He said he grew up as a Muslim before giving his life to Christ a few years ago.
“I know for a fact that he dared not slap our Shehu for whatever reason. And if he tried it, his so-called business would be razed down in minutes. He cannot even try that with a Babalawo (Herbalist)”, he said.
He counselled Portable to quickly apologise to the man he slapped before it was too late.
