A former professional football player, Shannon Sharpe has owned up to the viral audio of him making to love to a woman in his home in America.
Sharpe, in a video, apologised for the error and said that he was disappointed in himself for the slip.
The former player who played 14 seasons in America’s National Football League (NFL), primarily with the Denver Broncos save he was a novice as far as Instagram live was concerned.
He said he had never done a live session and had no plan to do one at the time the incident happened.
Narrating what happened, he said he tossed his phone on the bed to get busy with his woman, whom he called Michelle in the viral clip.
He said he had no idea his hand had activated the Instagram live button until people started calling him on his other phone to alert him.
He said he ignored most of them because he was not expecting any call especially on facetime.
He said he picked the call of Jamie Foxx who told him the world could hear him making love.
At that point, he said his heart sank and he frantically fetched his phone to realise that it was true.
He said he had never been so embarrassed in his entire life, not because he was making love, but that what should be his private moment had been broadcast across the world.
