Controversial Adamawa State-born senator, Ishaku Abbo, has denied being the one in a viral video showing a man making love to a married woman.
The video hit social media late last week, showing a light-skinned man having s3x with a woman said to be married to an Abuja-based man.
It would be recalled that Senator Abbo, during his first tenure in the Senate two years ago had been filmed hitting a breastfeeding mother in a sex toy shop in Abuja.
The video of that incident went viral and put the senator under the spotlight.
When this new video surfaced, the name of Senator Abbo cropped up as the man seen in the s3xual encounter in the video, even though there is nothing to suggest this apart from the fact that the senator has a light complexion and possibly the same build as the man in the video.
The Senator, last Thursday evening, quickly summoned a press conference to clear his name over the scandal.
He told the newsmen he was not the one in the viral video.
“How can you identify a person without seeing his face, his body, only parts of his legs and you said it is Senator Abbo,” he queried.
Abbo who was removed from the senate by the Court of Appeal early this year, accused political opponents of sponsoring “timid blackmail” against him.
“Blackmail cannot stop me from winning elections. A senator from one of the northern states was shown in a sex video with his entire body, but he still won an election to the Senate, and his wife won an election to the House of Representatives. My people love me. No amount of blackmail can stop me,” he insisted.
Abbo threatened to take legal court action against those he suspected were behind the circulation of the sex video and who were trying to malign and tarnish his name.
