It is a disappointing ending for a love story that captured the hearts of many netizens two years ago.

Nadia, a South African lady who went viral two years ago after her boyfriend hired a helicopter to propose marriage to her, has split from the man after she was reportedly caught cheating.

The Internet went agog about two years ago when the photos of their romantic marriage proposal were shared.

The man hired a helicopter to fly the two of them over a beach where the bold sentence “Will you marry me, Nadia?” was artistically written.

Nadia who was sitting beside her boyfriend was full of tears when she looked down and saw the romantic question.

The fairy tale continued as the helicopter landed on the beach and the man got down on one knee to repeat what the lady had seen written on the beach.

Nadia said yes, and the happy couple flooded their social media handles with the visuals from the spectacular experience.

Their engagement story was discussed online for weeks for its extravagance and charm.

Many netizens could not help admiring the love exhibited by the two and wished they could have something like that in their own lifetimes.

However, two years down the line, Nadia and her man are no longer an item.

According to sources close to the couple, their bond was broken when Nadia was caught cheating.

Netizens are unsparing in their castigation of the two estranged lovebirds. While some blasted the lady for being insatiable, others blamed the man for allegedly trying to use money to buy love.
