Man drags son of new Chief Justice of Nigeria Kudirat Kekere-Edun after seeing his old posts supporting Peter Obi

A man has taken to X (Twitter) to express his anger after learning that Koye Kekere-Edun, an actor and the son of Nigeria’s newly appointed Chief Justice, Kudirat Kekere-Edun, was a vocal supporter of Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate.

The X user, Taofeek T. Gawat, sarcastically congratulated Koye on his mother’s appointment as Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN) and then reminded him to “delete all your Anti-Tinubu posts.”

When others In his conversation with other followers, Taofeek repeatedly referenced Koye’s support for Peter Obi.

Quoting what Kekere-Ekun allegedly wrote months ago, Taofeek tweeted:

“He’s not my president” but him swear in your mama as CJN…

Congratulations to your family though. Don’t forget to delete all your Anti Tinubu posts. Enjoy”

Another X user, Tosin responded to him: “Why should he delete anti Tinubu post? How is that a sin? She’s Nigeria CJN not Tinubu CJN”

Taofeek scoffed at that with “Oya now”.

The new CJN’s son’s old tweets were dug out. Most of them eulogized Peter Obi.

In a tweet on 22 February, 2023, Koye wrote: “Papa, mama, pikin. Your vote is your vote. A vote for Obi/Labour Party is exactly that. Don’t let these political jobbers online and offline fool you.
Papa, mama, piken. Obi. Labour Party. We move to the polls on Saturday!”

In another, he wrote: “Peter Obi. Compassion, empathy, sincerity, integrity, capacity. What a glorious new dispensation that would be.”

Koye has not responded to the call out.
