The Lagos Police Command has announced the arrest of three men who allegedly attempted to kidnap a car dealer in the Ebute-Igbogbo area of Lagos state on Tuesday, August 20.
A video of the suspects completely stripped naked and with blood running down their faces and bodies while pleading for mercy has been making the rounds on social media since Wednesday morning (August 21).
A mob beat them up shortly after they were apprehended.
Lagos Police Command’s spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, saw the video on social media and commented that the men had been apprehended and are now in police custody. He added that efforts were ongoing to apprehend two other accomplices.
