Policeman sprays teargas into Nollywood actresses, Shan George, Carolyna Hutchings’ eyes (Video)

A policeman providing guard duties at Ashluxury in Lekki Phase One has been accused of spraying tear gas into the eyes of famous Nollywood actresses, Shan George and Carolyna Hutchings.

The incident happened on Saturday night when Carolyna parked in front of Ashluxury while waiting for an Uber she ordered for Shan George.

Carolyna said they were not blocking the way and were not disturbing anyone, just waiting for the ordered Uber to arrive so she could put Shan George in it.

She accused the policeman of spraying her with tear gas and then turning around to do the for the older Shan George.

In a video Shan George made early this morning, she said she could not go to church because she was having pains in her eyes.

She said the substance had been irritating her eyes, causing her to tear up copiously.

She said: “I am not crying or anything, but can you see how tears are rolling down my eyes.”

“She never said a word, she was sitting in the car when the police came around the car to spray her intentionally and also sprayed into the car. She never said a word .. why spray her why? @ashluxury @ashluxe …

All this happened within 6-7 min and the Uber arrived while we were being sprayed, no physical assault on the police, no weapon on us. The premises had no light, no notice of no parking, no security guard to tell us not to park.

Only someone who came 15 minutes later in mufti shouting and cursing us out. The gate of ash luxury was locked. We were not constituting a nuisance, not trying to break in.. this was ONLY 8 pm.

Why bring out tear gas and gun .. to do what exactly ?? .

We were not blocking anyone or trying to cause harm .. you didn’t even respect my police that was so polite in his uniform. You still sprayed him tear gas, he had no weapon not even torchlight on him.

Just three women who are in the car and two unharmed men coming from a long day at work just wanting to go home to rest .. two sick women in the car,my self and aunty Shan ..

I have not been able to sleep cause my body hurts from the substance , my chest is heavy and I have been coughing hard, my doctor has ordered an X-ray and more meds.

My question is why ?? What are you guarding in the building, even bank securities don’t do this to people, at least not my bank.

I am so sorry aunty Shan, you only wanted to go home to rest, if there was no crazy traffic I would have driven you to Chevron.. human, when they have little money they become monsters.

What if I was asthmatic, what if I had a baby in the car? Why spray tear gas into my car why ??

@ashluxury @ashluxe.. even when the police told me to do a video of him, which is the video I posted as evidence he was still spraying .. what is it you are selling? If it is clothes what is it that I have not worn or can’t afford .. if you were Harrods or polo that means you would have snipers shooting randomly ..

I don’t look for trouble I mind my biz but when you look for mine especially when I was polite, I will give you a taste of your poison. This case will see the end of it.
