An arsonist ended up setting himself on fire while burning a barber’s shop with all the equipment inside it in Australia.

The man, captured by CCTV, can be seen pouring petrol all over the shop. He then lit a fire and threw it on the petrol.

The fire however caught him in the process.

The incident happened just before midnight on July 6, and involved two individuals who arrived together on pushbikes at the Gold Blade barber shop in Gungahlin, Canberra.

One of the men entered, while the second person only assisted the other to gain entrance by smashing the glass front door with a hammer.

Once the man inside caught fire, he dove back outside through the broken glass onto the pavement and rolled on the ground many times to smother the fire.

Once he succeeded, he got up and the two fled.

The police are currently seeking the two individuals, who were difficult to identify as they were wearing motorcycle helmets to cover their faces.
