Lady who tore hubby’s international passport arrested
Husband begs public, authorities to forgive the family
The lady, Favour Igiebor, who went viral after allegedly tearing her husband’s passport had reportedly been arrested by the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) and taken to Abuja for interrogation.
A video circulating on social media shows the woman being escorted by NIS officials out of the airport into the road where they waited, apparently for a vehicle to convey them.
Igiebor tried to make a call but was stopped by one immigration official.
The husband has put out a video to apologise to the authorities and the members of the public.
In a video posted on their Tiktok handle, the husband said what his wife tore was not his passport and that it was all a prank.
He said they never bargained for the controversy that followed the action.
