“What do you gain from disrespecting me all the time” – Peter Okoye  publicly writes his twin brother, Paul

One arm of the dissolved PSquare, Peter Okoye, has reacted to his twin brother, Paul Okoye’s latest interviews in which he claimed credit for most of the songs they sang together.

Peter posted an open letter on social media this morning, in which he faulted Paul for always claiming credit for their songs.

He said this was wrong because when he, Peter, granted interviews, he always used ‘we’ and ‘us’.

He said on the other hand, when Paul granted interviews even in his (Peter’s) presence he took personal credit for their songs.

Peter said this was disrespectful and consistent with a pattern of always disrespecting him, his body of work, his wife and his family.

He accused him of teaming up with their elder brother and former manager, Jude, to oppress him.

He asked him what he gained from ‘constantly disrespecting and belittling’ him.

Peter said his twin brother did all that to make their fans love only him, but that he missed the point that their fans loved them as a team and not as individuals.

He promised to address the issue of his reporting Paul and their elder brother, Jude to the EFCC.
