Multiple accidents have been reported in Lagos and Ogun States early this morning as people resume work after the weekend.
On the Long Bridge inward Lagos on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, a white hiace bus rammed into a stationary truck, with the two vehicles partially blocking traffic and creating a backlog of vehicles stretching over the bridge toward Wawa Bus Stop.
Another multiple-vehicle collision was reported just before The Apostolic Church convention ground at Olorunda Ketu, Lagos.
The accident involved a staff bus (Toyota Coaster) and more than three cars. No casualties were reported.
Also along that same road towards Ogudu, there was a multiple-vehicle collision involving seven vehicles.
The accident happened around the Total filling station before Alapere Estate.
According to LASTMA, two persons were rescued from the accident and taken to the hospital.
