The abducted Chaplain of the All Saints Police Protestant Church, Mopol 42 Mobile, Pastor Isa Andrew, has appealed to the First Lady, Mrs Oluremi Tinubu to help pay the N6 million ransom demanded for him and his 13-year-old daughter.

The Police chaplain and his daughter, identified as Grace were kidnapped on 14 July 2024 at their residence in Gusau, the Zamfara State capital.

They have been in captivity for about four weeks now.

Channels Television published a video of Pastor Andrew appealing to the First Lady and other Nigerians to come to his aid to regain freedom by helping them to meet the demands of the terrorists.

The abducted cleric said the abductors had given an ultimatum of between this Saturday and Thursday to produce an additional N6 million naira, two boxer motorcycles and one Honda motorcycle.

He said the terrorists said if the money was not produced, they would marry off his 13-year-old daughter who is in captivity with him.

Pastor Andrew disclosed that they had already paid N6 million as ransom after his family sold their possessions and with assistance from people of goodwill.

He said their abductors were still demanding an additional six million naira, two boxer motorcycles and one Honda motorcycle before they would free them.

Pastor Andrew said his daughter had been exposed to mistreatment, prompting him to appeal to the First Lady and other concerned Nigerians to assist them in regaining freedom.

He lamented that he was suffering from diabetes and his incarceration was worsening his health condition.

Speaking further, he said the abductors had demanded N60 million, but his wife negotiated with them and they agreed to receive six million naira.

They collected the money and are now asking for another six million naira.
