A shocking footage of the moment some Africans trying to reach Europe were emptied into the Mediterranean Sea has surfaced online.
Dozens of African men were balanced on what remained of the capsized boat. Dozens of others were in the water holding on to improvised floating devices, like empty kegs.
One of the victims apparently held a water-resistant camera with which he filmed the scene.
“He oh! I don die o. See everybody for water o!” he said as he recorded the scene. He was in the water, sustained by a floating device.
There is no information on how many of them were rescued.
Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri posted the video on X.
He wrote: “Fellow Black Africans Stranded In The Mediterranean Sea, Trying To Reach Europe. Who Can Help Save These Lives?”
