A French Pole vaulter, Anthony Ammirati, is currently enjoying embarrassing global attention after his bulky male organ seemingly caused his downfall in his quest for gold at the ongoing Paris Olympics.
Ammirati, 21, had done very well so far and looked set to clear 5.70m and take a major step towards the final of his event.
He had safely scaled over the bar and was about to relinquish his pole, when his manhood brushed the bar with enough force to send it crashing to the floor, dashing his hopes for a medal.
It was a disappointing end to what had hitherto been a brilliant outing. He had successfully cleared two heights before his bulge stood in the way of further progress.
He finished 12th with a height of 5.60 in Group A.
A closer scrutiny of the viral clip of the pole vaulter’s failed effort shows that his knee appears to have first made contact with the bar before his member brushed it as well.
See some hilarious comments trailing the clip:
@taxo__: “French pole vaulter Anthony Ammirati lost out on winning the gold medal, because of his junk…”
@neeraj: “Looks like Anthony Ammirati found a new way to raise the bar—literally and figuratively!
Guess we can call that a “pole vaulter’s bulge-tastic” performance!😀”
Usuallysteve: “21-year-old French pole-vaulter Anthony Ammirati may have lost out on Olympic Gold, but I see big things in his future.”
