A car carrying an abducted woman has crashed in Lagos after a Good Samaritan noticed irregular activities in the car and decided to follow it.

The video of the incident was uploaded on X and is currently trending.

The Samaritan, called Oga Amos by occupants of his car, noticed the back door of the car in front of him opening and closing while the car was at top speed and decided to follow it.

The date and time of the incident were not stated, but from the video, it was at night.

Amos and the occupants of his car, two men and a woman can be heard discussing the incident, arguing whether it was a kidnapping incident or a one-chance robbery.

While a male voice in the car encourages Amos to continue to follow the car, a female voice repeatedly cautions against it, arguing that the men might have guns or it could be a set-up.

Amos ignored the lady in their midst and continued to follow the car and from the conversations in the car, he had been following the car from Toll Gate up to Ajah area of Lagos.

However, at a point, Amos announced regretfully that he had reached his turning point.

Luckily for him, the suspicious car turned in the direction Amos was going and he then continued to tail the suspicious car, which increased their speed, apparently to lose the car following them.

Amos continued to follow until the suspicious car crashed into a road embankment.

Amos and his team approached carefully because the lady in their midst was cautioning them that it could be a set-up.

But as Amos’ car approached they could see other pedestrians rushing to the crashed vehicle, and Amos and his own people stopped their car and went down to investigate.

It appeared the abductors had taken to their heels the moment their car crashed, but the lady struggling to get out of the car could be heard answering questions from pedestrians.
