Former member of the Mark Angel comedy, Denilson Igwe, has shared evidence to back his claim that his colleague, Mark paid Emmanuella N20k monthly despite making millions of naira.
Denilson trended after he appeared on a podcast show where he revealed that he founded the comedy show and was ripped off by Mark who had sole control of their pages’ monetization.
Many Nigerians attacked Denilson for trying to tarnish the image of his former colleague, as many accused him of lying against Mark.
He has now released a document purported to be an agreement between Mark and Emmanuella where it was stated that the latter would receive N20k as salary.
The document partly reads, “The Manager shall from time to time bring the Artist home to her family to re-unite with her siblings and shall also make for regular communication on phone with her parents.
“That the Manager shall pay to the Artist a monthly upkeep of N20,000.00 (Twenty Thousand Naira) only. The Parties hereby agree that a Guardian ad-litem shall be appointed in the person of Barr. (Mrs.) Jacinta O. Chinkere-Nwogu who shall be contacted on all issues concerning the Artist including travels outside Nigeria.”
Sharing the post on Instagram, Denilson captioned it, “Evidence plenty am not chasing clout. Just that some people felt they rich and influential. Forgetting days of little beginning, all the suffer, the struggle, the prayers for better tomorrow now the tomorrow don come 😭😭😭😭.”
