The young man who attempted to assassinate former president of the United States of America, Donald Trump fired eight sh0ts in rapid succession before a Secret Service sniper neutralized him.
Thomas Crooks, 20, opened fire on Trump’s campaign event in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13 from a rooftop just 400ft away from the stage where the former president was speaking.
One of Cooks’ bullets clipped the ear of Trump, one felled a rallygoer, while others injured two others.
The new clip shows that Crooks released eight bullets from his AR-15-style rifle into the rally in under six seconds before snipers fired two countersh0ts, including the one that killed him.
Terrified rallygoers screamed and ran for dear life.
The witness who recorded the video, John Malice claimed Crooks then pointed his gun towards the crowd just seconds before the second sniper sh0t.
It would be recalled that many witnesses claimed they saw Cooks on the roof and raised an alarm minutes before he shot at Trump.
Malice also corroborated this claim, adding: ‘We just kind of ignored it because we thought it was some person trying to get a better view’.
The crowd’s opinion changed when they saw a gun with the would-be assassin just moments before he fired at Trump.
‘Let’s get out of here’, one witness screamed as the crowd frantically rushed through the field, Malice’s video showed. Another yelled: ‘He’s got a gun on the roof.’
