Abia police conclude probe of m*rder of lady allegedly by Chinese employer who tried to date her
The Abia State Police Command has announced that it has concluded an investigation into the alleged m*rder of Vivian Ocheze Ogbonna allegedly by her Chinese employer whose love advances she turned down.
The suspect, Mr. Ge Zhen, who is the Operations Supervisor of Inner Galaxy, a steel manufacturing company in Ukwa West Local Government Area of the state, was alleged to have pushed the victim from a crane, resulting in her d£ath.
The command’s spokesperson, ASP Maureen Chinaka, said the case had been handed over to the office of the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Abia State for prosecution.
“Abia State Police Headquarters received a report on 21/05/2024 of the alleged m*rder of Miss Vivian Ocheze Ogbonna ‘Female’ 26 years old of Umuahala Obuzor Asa in Ukwa West LGA Abia State, by the Operation Supervisor Mr. Ge Zhen ‘male’ 54 years of Inner Galaxy Steel Company, located at Obuzor Asa, Ukwa West LGA Abia state,” Chinaka said in a statement.
“Investigation has been concluded by the command and the matter was handed over to the office of the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice Abia State on 25/06/2024 For prosecution in court.”
