A Nigerian man is at the receiving end of global opprobrium after he was caught stealing food items from an African store in Europe.
The shop owner who, incidentally is a Nigerian, recorded the moment following her discovery of the theft.
According to the lady, she had been seeing the Nigerian man entering the store and departing and she had been according him a lot of respect, not knowing he was not a genuine customer.
On the day he was caught, the man went into the shop as usual, but when he was about to go, the shop owner accosted him asking for a receipt for what he bought.
She said the man claimed to have bought the items from another shop before coming to her own shop and that he was not given any receipt where he bought the items.
The shop owner said, she then inspected the items and found that they carried her stamp.
That was when she raised her voice to insult the man.
The man in the video can be seen acting nonchalant and claiming not to have stolen anything, but the shop owner called the police while announcing that she had a surveillance camera that recorded everything.
