‘SA to the SSA’ is trending on X (Twitter) after a social media personality known as ‘Angry Alhaji’ (real name: Umar Bush), was appointed as Special Assistant On Entertainment to President Bola Tinubu’s Senior Special Assistant on Special Needs and Equal Opportunities, Mohammed Abba Isa.
Angry Alhaji has become an internet sensation with a series of skits where he is perpetually angry at a boy who derives pleasure from needling him.
He has done some of his kits with notable celebrities such as footballer, Ahmed Musa, and others.
Angry Alhaji’s letter of appointment was dated 13th July 2024, and conveyed the approval of the Senior Special Assistant to the president on Special Needs and Equal opportunities for his appointment as the special assistant on Entertainment.
The letter spells out Angry Alhaji’s role to include managing media promotion, ensuring good public relations, and facilitating entertainment initiatives for the office.
The appointment is generating massive reactions on X (Twitter), with many people describing it as ridiculous.
