Some X (Twitter) users are dragging a fellow X user with the moniker, Lois B, for posting the testimony of a parent whose daughter escaped being a victim of the school building collapse in Jos because she felt pressed and went to the toilet shortly before the building went down.

Lois B tweeted:

“My daughter escaped because she went out to ease herself, minutes later, the building collapsed”

Lois B returned to the app to clarify: “I forgot to add God did but y’all are crying already?  Yes, you heard me God did. Secondly observe the quotation mark!”

Some netizens immediately attacked her for gloating over the tragedy of others who lost their children in the tragic incident.

@Jessyperkis wrote “You people should stop saying God is good. What about those that died and a parent lost their life cos  all their four children died. Those who were saved should not rubbed it in the face of the bereaved. Unfortunate things happen and we should just pray it doesn’t to a loved one”

@My_specc responded: “God is still good. Go aside and worship whoever you want to.”

@saintdc21 wrote: “Lol i wish your child didn’t survive I just wish then I would I seen if God was still good wicked soul”

@Ayo_Oluwalogbon: “I blame you for these punches of attacks on you here for coming on social media to share message. Why not keep it within your family or environment ? Must everything be online to get other bereaved ones feel God was not on their side?”

@JusticeGeorgeE: “Did you see the quotation mark in her post? What’s wrong with you people?”

@AlobaJoshua: “In Good and bad times we should learn to give thanks to God, allow her rest.. if she say my daughter is lucky you guys will commend but she decided to attribute it to God and it becomes a problem”

@yhiuntt: “Epitome of why religion is one of the worst things on God’s earth. Humans take every opportunity to show selfishness. In the light of the pain of multitudes, you choose to celebrate”

Asa Chidiegbo wrote: “Obinigwe ‼️‼️
