A trending video shows the interrogation of a boy who put poison inside her adoptive mother’s tea in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
During the interrogation, the boy who hails from Benue State, admitted that he intended to kill the woman who was caring for him.
When asked if he was maltreated, he said he was not. When further questioned about why he wanted to kill the woman, he said he was sent by a man, whose name he did not know.
He claimed he had only seen the man who sent him on the errand twice, but he could recognize him if he saw him.
He confessed that her adoptive mother took him in after he was kicked out of where he was staying with a family in Enugu, Enugu State.
According to him, he was caught trying to sleep with a minor daughter of the man he was staying with and his father was summoned to take him away.
He was brought to Port Harcourt where his adoptive mother took him into her house and arranged with her son in Owerri to come and take him to Owerri, Imo State, where he could continue his education.
