‘I can’t say I know for sure’- Former Gov, El-Rufai’s son responds after being asked if his father stole

Bashir El-Rufai, the son of former Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, early today replied to an X-user who took to the micro-blogging site to ask him if his father stole public funds or not while in office.

It would be recalled that the State House of Assembly some months back accused El-Rufai’s administration of embezzling N432 billion and left the state with significant debt obligations.

The X user last night took to Bashir’s comment section to inquire from him if his father stole or not.

Responding, Bashir said he had no idea and that it was his father and Allah who knew the truth.

He however mentioned that the man he knew as his father was not a thief.
