He didn’t slap me – Davido’s bodyguard reacts to viral video of alleged assault at his boss’ wedding

The man who appeared to have been slapped by singer Davido in a now-viral video has identified himself as the singer’s bodyguard.

He has clarified that he was not slapped, but cautioned by Davido.

He said a child showed up from nowhere and he was trying to remove him from the scene when his boss cautioned him.

He made the clarification in an instanstory.

He wrote:

“My boss didn’t slap me and he has never slapped any of his staff before. He’s only cautioning me to allow the boy. The boy in question appeared from nowhere and I tried to stop him. Besides, my boss is my blood and family. I understand him so well without a word from his mouth”.
