‘Stop forcing your tongues into our mouths during kissing scenes,’ Nollywood actress, Sandra Ifudu tells Nollywood actors
A Nollywood actress, Sandra Ifudu, has sent an appeal to her male colleagues to desist from the habit of forcing their tongues into the mouths of actresses during kissing scenes.
She said the practice is not safe as it can spread communicable diseases, such as herpes.
Ifudu said there was something called Nollywood kiss, or dry kiss, which did not entail an exchange of saliva between the two people doing the kissing.
She said that was the standard, but regretted that many male colleagues were violating that and sticking their tongues into actresses’ mouths.
She described this as sexual harassment and called for a stop to it.
She narrated her personal experience with an actor sometime ago, adding that she had to rush into the bathroom after the scene to wash her mouth with sanitizer.
