Popular Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, has blasted social media activist, VeryDarkMan’s mother for raising ‘a beast’.
In a video she posted on her platforms, she said the activist’s mother did not ‘try at all’. She added that if she saw her one-on-one she could slap her for doing a bad job raising the activist.
Iyabo Ojo also blasted Afrobeat singer, Seun Kuti for taking sides with VeryDarkMan.
She said Kuti did not say anything when VeryDarkMan accused her of taking N65 million to get justice for the late singer, Mohbad.
It would be recalled that Seun Kuti had offered his support for the controversial social media critic, saying that such characters were needed to end oppression in Nigeria.
Addressing the issue, Iyabo Ojo revealed her reasons for pursuing a case with Verydarkman.
According to the mother of two, VeryDarkMan accused her and others of taking the sum of N65m from people to pursue justice for the late ex-signee of Marlain Music, Mohbad.
Ojo said if it was ordinary insult, she might not have reacted, but that she had to react once she was defamed.
She said she did not collect any money from anyone, and that instead, she spent her own hard-earned money to pursue the case.
She recounted how her husband, Paulo Okoye urged her to drop the case only for VDM to aim at the businessman following the grand wedding of Davido.
She wrote, There’s a difference between insuIt and d3famation. VDM accused me and others of collecting N65m from people to get justice for Mohbad. My partner, Paul O, asked me to drop the case I had with VeryDarkMan months ago and now he has seen for himself what I went through.
