A United Kingdom-based Nigerian lady, Michelle Efuntoye Dave, is being dragged for allegedly ripping off fellow Nigerians to live a flashy life.
An X user, with the handle @FeneAustin exposed the alleged scam on the platform.
Fene disclosed that Michelle told members of an ‘ajo’ group she had a lump in her breast and collected 650 pounds from them before absconding.
She reportedly blocked members of the ‘Ajo’ group so that they could not reach her.
She was later seen on social media celebrating the purchase of a Tesla car.
Fene wrote:
“This is MICHELLE EFUNTOYE DAVE. Her number is +xxxxx 509xxx. In February, she lied that she had a lump in her breast & stole £650 from ajo group members kind enough to be patient with her & blocked us all. If it’s a lie, let her come & dispute my claim. Help me call her to pay. Her handle on Insta & TikTok: @unoftrois. After I threatened to call her out 2months ago, she deleted her Twitter & is on TikTok celebrating buying a Tesla while d ppl she lied to abt having lump in her breast & stole from are blocked bcs they told her to pay their money.
In response to a comment, she wrote:
“Ah. She’s owing many people in this UK o. This is just one out of many. It’s why her accounts are always under lock and Key. She lives a very fake life here borrowing and never paying back”
In a follow-up post, @FeneAustin wrote: “Michelle has now seen that she is being dragged and has messaged the person who brought her in and while that one was telling her to pay up look at Michelle’s response.”
